Our hosting is 100% powered by sustainable energy. We do not use 'carbon offseting' like so many other hosts as this is just cheating.

Our servers are situated in two data centres- one in the US and one in the UK. Both data centres are powered by clean energy supplied by wind turbines.

UK data centre is located deep underground in a remote ex-NATO nuclear bunker on the east coast of the UK. It is the first and only data centre in the UK to provide low energy, high performance hosting with zero carbon emissions. 100% of the power comes from wind-generated energy provided by Ecotricity and our servers utilise low-energy technology to consume up to 60% less power than their conventional counterparts.

US data centre is situated in North-Eastern Pennsylvania and is powered by the nearby Waymart Wind Farm. The data centre's energy is certified by the Green-e consumer protection program as well as the US government's Green Power Partnership program.

In addition to our virtual hosting we can also provide dedicated servers managed by ourselves in our green datacentres. This means that you can have all the advantages of running your own server without the headaches of the day to day maintenance, security updates and backup provisioning. This is ideal for companies with a busy website or designers who want to host many of their clients sites themselves.
